    Sorted I recently got Broadband at my new address and had rather a long way to go to my computer. I only had one telephone point and it was out in the hall.     Uberlead My ancient Vista laptop had a physical ethernet port meaning with my Plusnet Fibre Optic connection I could get up to 8 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload. My newer Win 8.1 notebook only had Wireless and USB ports.
